About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Power Access Technician to join our service team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preparation of a wide range of new and used powered access equipment. The position is split between workshop and field-based work, giving you variety day to day. A company van and mobile phone will be provided, along with full manufacturer training to support your development.Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and repairs on new and used diesel and electric scissors and booms
- Diagnose and repair faults on a range of powered access machines
- Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of the wider Service team
- Deliver a high standard of customer service when attending jobs on customer sites
- Accurately complete all relevant job cards, inspection records and associated paperwork
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and company procedures at all times
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:- Previous experience in a similar powered access or engineering maintenance role
- Industry-recognised training certification in powered access or related discipline
- CAP (Competency Assessment Programme) qualified – not essential, but a distinct advantage
